1959 blonde PT #1 Barbie SL (EX) She has reproduction (safe, won't cause green) "gold" hoop earrings, original black and white striped swimsuit, original black OT shoes with holes in the bottom for her stand, & original white sunglasses with clear blue lenses. The elastic in bottom of her ponytail had disintegrated, so was replaced, but her hair has never ever been combed through. The top elastic is all original. Her make-up is perfect and vibrant with bright reddish-orangish lips. One metal tube in one leg is missing, but the other is still there. She would still stand on her stand without problem though, if she had a stand, as the hole is there, just not the metal tube lining. There are reddish stains on the tops of her feet from the straps of her shoes, which are very commonly found on #1 Barbie dolls. She has her #1 booklet (small worn mark on front), but no stand or original box. I also have photos of her full length, her ponytail from top and side and of her feet to show the stains from her shoes. If you want to see them, just email me and ask. 1960 brunette PT #4 Barbie SL (good) No original black and white striped swimsuit or any accessories. She has her original top elastic in her ponytail but the bottom one has been replaced.  There are a few flyaway pieces of hair here and there.  Her hair has lots of lower curls!  The factory stitching of hair at the back base of her neck drops down in a point to the edge of the neck hole and the vinyl has separated right at this spot from the factory  hair stitching.  Unfortunately, this has created a neck split in this spot. She has some lip rub to both lips and the tips of both eyebrows are faded. I see a small scratch mark (a small dent in the vinyl really) on the vinyl at the tip of her nose, if I look closely and from a profile.  One earring hole per ear with no green and no splits.  Her head vinyl has the "greasy face" that some late # 4's and #5's get. She has all fingers.  She has almost 100% of her red nailpolish remaining and about 90% of her toe-polish. With a nice repaint she would be very lovely! $165.00  

1961 blonde PT #4/#5 Transitional Barbie SL (very good++) No original black and white striped swimsuit or any accessories. Both ponytail elastics have been replaced as they were very disintegrated after all these years.  Her ponytail is braided but I can't really tell if it came from the factory like that or if her original owner did it many years ago.  It doesn't look messy or anything to imply it was braided by a child.  No original lower hard curl left.  No missing or cut hair. One earring hole per ear but a few extra prick marks around each hole by the ear.  No green at all.  Her facial paint is very good, with light blonde eyebrows that are starting to fade.  She has red nostril dots and red lips.  One very slight rub to the upper right edge of her lipstick.  Her eyes are a lovely deep blue.  No neck splits.  She has the heavy solid body of the #4 Barbie, but as you can see from the photo, her bangs are more like a #5 Barbie  I don't think her head would have been switched as I purchased her from her original owner.  Her body is very clean   Her deep red nailpolish is 100% intact, as is almost all of her toe-polish as well.  No missing fingers or toes. Her bum is marked "Barbie" as it is supposed to.  One small scuff mark in the vinyl on the back of her right ankle.  She's a very lovely doll.  Ask to see a larger photo of her pretty face!  $320.00 

1961 brunette PT #4/#5 Transitional Barbie SL (very good+++)  This very beautiful doll has the hair, make-up and bangs of a #4 Ponytail but her torso is hollow, not solid like a #4's would be.  Her legs and arms are heavier like the early ponytail Barbies though.   She has really lovely facial paint with only the very slightest amount of fading to the very edges of her deep red lips.  You have to look close to see this at all.   Ask for a larger  photo of the one at the side to see how pretty her face is!   She has one earring hole per ear with no green, however I do see a very tiny prick marks just on the surface of the vinyl right near each earring hole.  Her ponytail has been retied with dental elastics.  She has her original black and white striped swimsuit, white sunglasses and booklet, but is missing her black OT heels, stand and earrings. No splits. She has all fingers. There is a small, slightly brownish spot just above her right knee.  She has about 95% of her red nailpolish still intact and about 60% of her toe-polish is still there. Such a beautiful doll! $360.00 

1961 brunette PT #5 Barbie SL (very good+) No original black and white striped swimsuit or any accessories.   She has the "greasy face" that is fairly common with 1961 dolls. Her ponytail has the original topknot but the lower elastic had disintegrated and is now replaced.  Lots of pretty lower curl in her ponytail!!!   No missing hair plugs that I can see. Her face is beautiful with no touch-ups and vibrant paint.  Her bright red lip paint has one chip missing on the upper right hand side.  Her eyes and brows look great. No neck splits or cut hair. Barbie has one earring hole per ear.  If you look inside each earring hole there is a slight bit of green visible but not very much.  You have to be looking for it.  Her nail and toe polish is also excellent.  No missing fingers or toes.  Her upper left thigh has some light blue marks on the front of it but most outfits would easily cover this. She is redressed in a non-Mattel pretty purple velvet vintage belle dress. She's a very pretty doll, with a few minor problems, but is excellent for display! $205.00 

1961 titian Bubblecut Barbie SL (very good++) No original black and white striped swimsuit or any accessories.  Her hair is a really pretty copper red color and none has been cut.  No missing hair plugs. Her facial paint is very good with the exception of her red lipstick with has rubs on the upper and lower lip edges.  She has the 2 red nostril dots and reddish-blonde eyebrows.  One earring hole per ear.  A very slight bit of green right at the hole of the left ear.  This is not too noticeable.  It has not been treated so using some "Remove-Zit" on it might help to remove or fade. Also any replacement "pearl" earring (non-metallic) would easily cover completely.  No neck splits. She comes on a "Barbie" marked body, as she should. No missing fingers or toes.  Barbie's red nail and toe polish is quite good with most of it still remaining.   There are a few small pin pricks in each breast "nipple" area.  This is very easy to cover with any swimsuit or outfit.  No stains on her body.  A very pretty early titian bubble! $115.00

1961 blonde Bubblecut Barbie SL (very good) No original black and white striped swimsuit or any accessories.   She has been redressed in a cute early 1960's non-Mattel burgundy flared pleated skirt and white lace sheer blouse.   She has a very nice tight bubble in a pretty shade of light honey blonde.   I don't see any missing plugs or cut hair.   One earring hole per ear and no green or splits.   She does have a very slight bit of the "greasy face" but it's not too bad at all!  She's just got a light sheen to her complexion.  Her brown eyebrows have a little bit of fading but not very much. She still has some red in each nostril.  Her lip paint is completely nude however.  She comes on a "Barbie" marked body with painted legs, which are harder to find than the non-painted leg 1961 bodies.   There are quite a few scratches and rubs to the leg paint though, if you look closely.  However the vinyl underneath is almost the same color so it's not too noticeable unless you look for it.   She has no toe polish remaining and not very much fingernail polish either.  She is not missing any fingers but there are chew marks on them, more so on the right hand.  She's a pretty doll and harder to find with the painted legs. $90.00 

1962 brunette PH Ken SL (very good++)  He is missing his red swim trunks and cork sandals.  He has his red and white striped beach jacket (played with condition, could use a brightening and is missing it's "Ken" label) and his original "Barbie and Ken" booklet. Ken is in great shape.  There are only a few rubs to his hair paint, a small one at the very front middle and a little bit on the back that isn't very noticeable.  His facial paint is really good too, the only fading I see is a bit to the end of his left eyebrow. No prick marks, chews, scrapes or neck splits.  His body is clean and in really good condition.  $35.00 

1962 blond PH Ken SL (very good+++) He has his original very good condition red and white vertical striped beach jacket (not pictured in photo) and his "Barbie and Ken" booklet. He is missing his red swim trunks, cork sandals and wire stand.   He is redressed in black and white checked pants (not Mattel). Ken is in really good condition.  He has only the smallest rub to the top middle of his blond hair paint. His facial painted is almost perfect and vibrant.  He has dark brows, bright blue eyes and light coral lips. I see the very smallest bit of a rub to the very end of his right eyebrow, and that's me being picky! No neck splits.  His straight leg body is also in wonderful shape, with no scrapes, scratches or chew marks.  He is clean and in barely played with shape. $40.00 

1962 brunette PH Ken SL (very good+)  He is missing his red swim trunks and cork sandals.  He has his good condition red and white striped beach jacket and his original "Barbie and Ken" booklet.  There are only a few small rubs to his dark brown hair paint - a very small one at the very front top middle and a spot on the back upper right side.  His facial paint is really good too, although there is some paint rubbed at the outer ends of each eyebrow. He has pale coral painted lips. No splits. No  prick marks, chews, scrapes.  His body is clean and in really good condition.  I see a very pale pinkish stain on the top of his left thumb, but it's not very noticeable.  It's probably from being stored with his hand against something red for too long.  $30.00 

1963 dark blonde PT #6 Barbie SL (good) No original red swimsuit, shoes or earrings. She has a retied ponytail and there are some hair-plugs missing at the top middle, so that she does have a bald strip across the top when the hair is pulled into a ponytail.  She could use a small re-root to fix this.  Her facial paint is good with no rubs to the brows or eyes that I can see, but her lipstick is pretty much gone. No green at ears but there are several small prick marks at each earring hole.  No neck splits.  She is on the correct Midge/Barbie marked body that does not say "Patented" at the bottom, so you know she is a 1963 doll. No missing fingers.  Her nail polish is dark pink and about 90% of it is remaining. No toe polish is left.  No scratches, chew marks or stains that I can see.  So she needs her lips painted and a small re-root and she'll be a great display doll! $75.00 

1963 titian PT #6 Barbie SL (very good++) No original red swimsuit, red OT shoes or "pearl" earrings (swimsuit doll is wearing in photo is not included). She has her original booklet included.  Her lips, eyebrows and nostril dots have been retouched. Her lips are a purplish-pink color and are painted small like many of the #6 ponytails lips originally were. The acrylic paint is removable with rubbing alcohol, so if you don't like it you could always repaint them.  There are no rubs or chips to any of the other face paint. She has gorgeous, very full, shiny red hair with symmetrical bangs. Her hair has been professionally retied in a fluffy ponytail (not in a hard curl). It looks so great this way! None is cut and no missing plugs. She does not have any "green ear". One earring hole per ear. No splits or any nicks in the vinyl. No "swingy arm" problems whatsoever. She has straight legs with the correct Midge/Barbie marked body with no major damage or discolorations. All fingers still there. Her original coral nail and toe-polish is about 95% still there. You have to see this one - this gal looks fabulous! $260.00 

1963 titian Midge SL (very good+++) Midge is wearing her very good condition original bikini with yellow top (a bit dingy, could use a quick wash) and orange bottoms, white OT shoes, has her original booklet and black wire stand. Her hair is pretty and uncut and has very good lower curl too.  Her facial paint is great  with only a slight bit of lower lip rub.  Her brows are not faded.  One earring hole per ear with no green and no splits.  Her body is also in very good shape with almost all nailpolish present and about 60-70% of toe-polish. No missing fingers.  Her leg stance is a bit wide, but this can be corrected with heat and straightening. I find this fairly often on these dolls for some reason.  She's a real cutie! $85.00 

1963 blonde Midge MIB SL (very good+++) Midge is wearing her very good condition original blue bikini bottoms, but is missing her light blue bikini top.  She also has one white OT shoe, but is missing the other one.  Her box is in very good condition with bright clean graphics.  No tears or splits in the box. The original wire stand is missing but she does have her booklet, although the front cover is gone.  Midge has great lower curl that has been re-set. Her hair has not been cut and there are no missing hair plugs that I can see. Her facial paint is excellent and not rubbed. No earring holes or neck splits. There is a pin prick hole in the end of each breast "nipple" and a couple in between them as well.  This would easily be covered by any swimsuit or outfit.  No missing fingers or toes.  No stains on her body. Her red nail and toe polish is in very good condition.  Midge's bum is marked "Midge/Barbie" as it should be.   Very excellent condition doll with the exception of the pin pricks in each breast.  $240.00 

1963 blonde Midge (good+++) No original blue bikini, white OT shoes, booklet or wire stand.  She has really nice lower curl and no missing hair-plugs. No earring holes. No brow rub, but a bit of lip rub, mostly in the middle. Fabulous bright blue eyes!  She is on a nice Midge/Barbie marked body with no missing fingers.  She has about 90-95% of her red nailpolish remaining and about 60% of her toe polish.  Just give her a touch up on her lips and she's great!  $40.00 

1963 blonde Midge (very good+++) She has her two-piece blue swim suit, but is missing her white open-toe heels.  No stand.  Her hair is fabulous - near mint even!  As is her facial paint.  No rubs.  One earring hole below each earlobe, so her original owner "pierced" her at some point. This photo does not do her justice at all, as the lighting was bad.  No missing fingers. She has all her fingernail  polish, although very little remains on her toes.  A few stitches coming loose here and there around the seam of  the top half of her bathing suit, but this is common to find.  She has a Midge/Barbie marked body, as she should.  She is clean and in very good condition. $75.00

1964 brunette #6 Ponytail Barbie SL (very good+++)  She has her original red one-piece swimsuit and red open-toe heels. No stand or earrings.  There is one small dark spot just above the left breast on her swimsuit, but I have not tried to clean and it might come out very easily. Her hair has been retied into a ponytail as the original elastic was disintegrating.  No lower elastic.  She has thick, full hair with none missing or cut that I can tell.   No lower curl remains, although it is not difficult to put in again.  Her bangs are thick and in great shape!  A bit of lip rub to her light coral lipstick on both the upper and lower lips edges, but otherwise her facial paint is intact and not faded.  A very slight bit of greyishness to the edge of her lip-paint in the corner on the left side.  No sure what has caused this. No green or gray at either ear and she has one earring hole per ear as she should.  She is on a Midge/Barbie marked body with the word "Patented" on the bottom.  No missing fingers. She has about 90% of her coral nailpolish remaining and about 80% of her toe-polish. She is clean and in very good condition.  I think she would make a lovely addition to a vintage collection.  $175.00 

1964 titian Swirl Ponytail Barbie SL  (very good++) No original swimsuit, shoes or accessories, however she comes wearing a very good condition 1963 "Fancy Free" red and blue sleeveless dress and she has her original copper-colored metal wire stand.  Her hair has been retied into the swirl and into a ponytail at the back.  I have added a pretty red ribbon over the ponytail.  The lower elastic is gone and her hair has been neatly trimmed by about a 1/2 inch, by my best estimate.  It still looks really nice though.  No green ear or any discoloration.  No rubbed facial paint.  She has really nice eyebrows and pretty light coral lips.  No neck splits.  No missing fingers.  She is on the correct Midge/Barbie straight-leg body with "Patented" on the bottom of the markings. Her deep coral nailpolish is perfect on her right hand and missing from 2 fingers on her left hand.  Her toe-polish is about 80% intact.  Her right leg is ever so slightly shorter than her left leg, as these bodies are often prone to being.  She's a lovely doll, with the hair trim being her only real flaw.  $250.00

1964 titian Swirl Ponytail Barbie SL  (good++) No original swimsuit, shoes or accessories. Her swirl ponytail has been retied and the lower elastic is gone. I'm not aware of any missing hair-plugs and the hair does not appear to be cut. One earring hole per ear. A slight amount of grayish-greenish stain around each hole. Her facial paint is good.  A bit of fading to the end of each eyebrow.  Her lip paint is all there but there is some discoloration to it. The lip paint has gone grayish in each corner of her mouth and  a bit along the bottom edge as well. The middle of the lip paint remains coral. It makes for an interesting overall effect.  No neck splits.  Barbie is missing the pinky finger from her left hand. The remaining nailpolish is really good - about 95% intact.  Her toe-polish is about 60% intact. She is on a Midge/Barbie marked body, as she should be.  She would make a great display doll. $195.00 

1964 platinum blonde Swirl Ponytail Barbie SL (good++) She has her original red helenca swimsuit and "Barbie and Ken" booklet but no shoes, earrings or stand. Her swirl ponytail has been retied and the upper elastic replaced with a dental band.  No lower elastic.  No missing hair-plugs that I can find. One earring hole per ear although there is one small prick mark at each ear near the earring holes, but they don't go all the way through. No green and no splits. She has wonderful unrubbed and unfaded make-up paint with nice dark brows and bubblegum pink lips!   Sadly there are a few prick (maybe chew?) marks on her face.  One noticeable one below her right eye on her cheek and: 5 less noticeable and smaller ones under her chin, 2 small ones on her chin below her lips. 3 small ones above her lips and below her nose, 2 on the right side of her nose and one to the right of the right side of her lips, 2 on the left side of her face near the jaw line and 3 more on the left side back near her hairline, behind her left ear.  Please understand that I had to use a magnifying glass to see most of these "dents".  The only one that you will notice easily is the first one I mention below her right eye on her cheek.  Ask of a larger photo to see better but really only this bigger one shows up in the photo. It does sound worse that it is.  She is on a Midge/Barbie marked body, as she should be. No missing fingers and no chews on her hands or body. She has about 90% of her coral nailpolish remaining and about the same amount of toe-polish left. Her body is in clean condition. She's a lovely doll with that platinum hair and pink lips! $210.00 

1964 platinum blonde Bubble Cut Barbie MIB SL (Very Good+++)  She is missing her red OT shoes and "pearl" earrings only.  The booklet is still sealed in it's original plastic packaging.  The box, marked Platinum Bubble Cut, is in wonderful condition, as is the black wire stand and Barbie's red helenca swimsuit.   She has pink lips that are fading to white around the edges. This is a lovely doll - her platinum bubble do has oxidized to a brassy colour, as they often are known to do.  It's still a pretty colour though.  Ask me for a close-up of this photo to see her better.  She would be mint condition however her former owner unfortunately left her earrings in for too long and she sadly developed green ear.  It has been treated with Remove-Zit and has faded quite a large amount!  There is only a faint green shadow at each ear, so the treatment worked very well!  Her nail and toe polish is coral and is not rubbed.  No splits, no marks or stains or chews. Her bum is marked "Midge / Barbie" as it should be and includes the word "Patented" at the bottom.  She is in fabulous shape, as is her box!  $300.00 

1964 brunette Bubble Cut Barbie (very good+) No original red swimsuit or shoes, but she is wearing a replacement red swimsuit.  She has nice thick dark brown hair with no missing plugs and none is cut.  One earring hole per ear with no green or any discoloration. Her facial paint is good with coral-pink lips starting to fade to pale around the outside edges and in the center.  With a magnifying glass I can see a very small amount of lip paint rubbed off in the middle indent of her lips, but it's pretty hard to tell!   The rest of her facial paint looks really good.  No neck splits.  No missing fingers.  This Barbie is nice and clean. Her nailpolish is about 95% intact  and her toenail polish is about 60% intact.  There is a pin prick hole at the tip of each breast.  Also there is a very faint small letter "B" on her lower back. It is light, but there.  Her bum is marked Midge / Barbie and has the word "Patented" at the bottom which makes her a 1964 or later Bubble Cut.  She's a very pretty and very gently played with doll. $120.00 

1964 brunette Bubble Cut Barbie (very good+++) No original red swimsuit or shoes.  Very nice thick, full dark brown hair with no missing plugs and none is cut.  One earring hole per ear with no green or any discoloration. Her facial paint is really good with pale pink lips and nice dark brows. No neck splits.  Excellent Midge/Barbie marked body with no missing fingers.  Her bum has the word "Patented" at the bottom.   She has about 90% of her red nailpolish remaining , but almost no toe-polish left at all.  No pin pricks, no scratches or scrapes.  She's a beautiful doll, who was only very gently played with. $140.00 

1964 titian Bubble Cut Barbie (good) No original shoes, but has red swimsuit (not pictured). She has beautiful crisp red hair! No missing plugs or any cut.  It is not a big, pouffy bubble, but sits closer to her head than most later Bubble Cuts I've seen. Her facial paint is perfect with no rubs and her lips have faded from dark coral to lighter peachy coral. One earring hole per ear and no neck splits.  This doll was barely played with at all, and it shows.  However the downside to that is that she spent too many years with her original earrings in and has the dreaded green staining at each ear. It is far better than I would have expected for the length of time the earrings were in though (40 years!).  I have treated it for the last week with Remove-Zit stain remover and the green has faded quite a bit. It is now about 1/4 of a inch in diameter at each ear and is pale. From the front it is not noticeable at all (ask for a larger photo to see this). I think with another couple of weeks of treatment, it could be faded even more, but that is up to the buyer if they wish to try.  Barbie's straight leg Midge/Barbie marked body is in wonderful condition.  She has all fingers and toes, and no scrapes, scratches or bite marks.  Her red nail and toe polish is almost perfect.  She would be a mint doll if it wasn't for those darn earrings being left in!  $80.00 

1964 brunette Skipper SL (very good+) She has her very good original red and white swimsuit and red flat shoes.  Unfortunately there is a split in the top front of each shoe. Skipper's hair is long and uncut.  I don't see any missing hairplugs, but the hair texture is a bit coarse. She has nice coral lips which are unrubbed.  Her left brown eyebrow shows a bit of fading. No earring holes, no green, no splits. Her straight-leg body is in very good condition. No missing fingers and no chew marks. Her right leg is slighter shorter than her left leg, which is not uncommon. The only thing that's a bit odd about this Skipper is that her head is slightly out of shape, so that she appears to be glancing up and to the right a bit. She's still very cute though and in really good condition. $45.00 

1964 brunette Skipper SL (very good+) She has her very good original red and white swimsuit. Missing her red flats and headband. Skipper's hair is long, shiny, and quite  thick. There is a small section in the back, bottom along the hairline where a bit of hair has been cut, maybe a 1/2 inch section right in the middle. There is still hair plugs there but they are short  This affects about 8 plugs of hair, tightly spaced, and you can't tell at all without lifting up her hair . Skipper has nice pinkish-coral lips, that have a  very slight rub to the edge of the bottom lip.  Her brown eyebrows are faded at each outer end. No earring holes, no green, no splits. Her straight-leg body is in very good condition. No missing fingers and no chew marks. She's quite cute and would make an excellent display doll. $35.00 

1964 brunette Skipper SL (EX)  This is a near mint doll.  Skipper includes her excellent condition original red and white swimsuit, red flat shoes (no splits) and brass headband. Her uncut brown hair is long and silky, like new.  She has nearly perfect facial paint with buttery beige lips and bright blue eyes.  No pin prick marks at ears, no green or gray stains and no neck splits.  Her body is in excellent condition.  This doll has barely been played with and then only very gently.  Skipper would make an excellent addition to any vintage Barbie collection.  This photo really does not do her justice - she is quite a lovely doll!  $75.00

1964 Allan SL (very good) He is wearing his original striped jacket in good condition, but is missing his original blue shorts, cork sandals and stand. He has been dressed in a pair of late 60's multi-coloured Ken shorts. His hair paint is really great, with hardly any rubs, and what few there are you have to really look for.  His facial paint is also great, but there is some fading to the tip of his left eyebrow, as seems to be common in these dolls. Allan's straight-leg body is in very good condition. No neck splits. Played with condition but only gently. $25.00

1964 Allan SL (good) No original outfit (he is not wearing the jacket shown in the photo). Some rubs to his hair paint, as you can see in the photo.  His facial paint is also very good - the only exception being that the right eyebrow is starting to fade at the outer end.  His lips are pale beige-ish pink.  No neck splits. He has a very good condition straight-leg body.  He will come to you  redressed in a 60's non-Mattel outfit of gray slacks and a black and white hound's-tooth blazer with black buttons. Played with condition but still great for display. $15.00

1965 light blonde American Girl Barbie BL (very good++) She has her original striped swimsuit (not shown in photo), but is missing her turquoise OT shoes. Her hair is light blonde and has no missing hair plugs that I can see. Her bangs might be trimmed back a bit as they seem a little short to me, but I could be wrong. No earring holes, no green, and no splits. Her facial paint is very good and un-rubbed, with butter yellow lips. The vinyl of her head has darkened a bit over the years so the skin tone of her face is a bit darker than her body, but when clothed this is barely noticable. She's still very pretty! Barbie has all 10 fingers intact and each one still has coral nail polish. Her bendable leg body has a split over the right knee, and that knee no longer bends. The left knee works fine. There are some chew marks on the right foot as well, but nothing too bad and a shoe will still stay on fine. The left foot is fine. No missing toes on either foot. Her bum markings are indented, as they should be for a 1965 doll. She's a beautiful doll! $235.00

1965 honey blonde American Girl Barbie BL (very good++) No original swimsuit or shoes. Her hair is really nice with no missing plugs that I can see and it is uncut.  It is a dark blonde color with a hint of a strawberry blonde slight tinge to it. No earrings holes and no green or stains.  She does have the start of a very small neck split below and between her chin and left ear area. It is maybe 1/8 of an inch long, if that.  As long as you don't pull her head off, it should be fine.  I have not tried to repair it.  Her facial paint is fairly good, although there is some visible fading to her right eyebrow and a bit of rubbing to the tip of her left eyebrow as well.  Her lipstick has faded to buttery yellow except for a bit in the middle of her lower lip which so far is still coral colored.  Her knees both still bend and click.  She is not missing any fingers or toes. She has about 70% of her coral nailpolish remaining.  There are some chew marks (dents) on the outside of her left heel/ankle area but it's not that bad.  About 9 or so small indents.  Unfortunately there is a split on the top of her right foot. It has been glued back together by the previous owner. A shoe will still sit fine on either foot.  The other thing I should  mention is that the doll has been made to "ride a horse" or something at some point and so her legs now spread at the hips if pulled apart, which they shouldn't.  So something was broken inside each hip joint when her legs were forced open years ago.  This is not obvious unless you pull her legs wide and see that they open easily when they should not.  She still stands fine and there is no damage visible on the outside of the doll. This description makes her sound worse than she is - she is really a very lovely American Girl! $205.00 

1965 blonde Midge BL  (EX) She has her original striped swimsuit, light blue headband (faded to almost white) and turquoise OT heels. There is a tiny hole in the swimsuit at the top left side where the turquoise edging meets the knit part, otherwise the swimsuit is in very good condition. Midge is in excellent shape overall. Her headband has never been removed from her hair, although time has faded it.   Her hair is uncut and curls nicely.  Midge's face paint is unrubbed and not faded.  Her pretty lips are light red.  There is one extra pinprick hole at her right ear and two extra prick marks at her left ear. No neck splits and no green or any staining at all.  Her butt marks are raised up, not indented.  No missing fingers and her nailpolish is about 80% still remaining. The only real flaw I can find is that her left knee no longer bends and holds and there is a split in the vinyl on the back of this knee that is about 1/4 inch long.  The right knee bends and holds fine. Her feet have no splits. There are a very very few teeth or prick marks in each ankle, maybe 3 or 4 small ones on each foot so it's not too bad.   I'm trying to be thorough in my description but overall this doll really is excellent.  She's also very cute! I think any vintage Barbie collector would be very happy with this doll!  $270.00 

1965 brunette Ken BL (good++) Ken is missing his original blue jacket and cork sandals, but he does have his original red swim trunks.  He also is wearing a red and white striped beach jacket (no Ken label, so possibly a Mattel knock-off of the 1962 jacket). His painted hair is in great shape with paint missing only from the very front top middle of his "bangs".   'There is a small paint chip from the end of his right eyebrow as well.  There is some yellowing discoloring right around the place where the neck meets the head - I think it's glue residue.  I could not get it off easily, but since it's under his neck it barely shows at all. There are 3 small scraped areas on the plastic of his chest - one at the right nipple area, one about a 1/2 inch below that and a slight one on the left side about 1/2 inch below his left nipple area.  Both knees still bend and hold, however his left knee has a split across the top that has been glued back together, so it might not be a great idea to bend the left leg in case it re-splits open. No missing fingers or toes.  No green or stains.  No chew marks. $70.00 

1965 Allan BL (very good+++) Missing his cork sandals only. He has his red beach jacket with the white "A" on the lower left side and his blue swim trunks, in played with but good condition.  There is a small dark mark on the middle left front side, but I have not tried to wash it, so it may clean up easily.  Allan is in really great shape.  He has only a few small rubs to his hair paint.  His facial paint is not rubbed at all.  No prick or chew marks, no green, no splits.  He has all his fingers and toes.  He knees both bend and click fine.  There's really not much wrong with this guy! Bendable leg Allan is harder to find.  $130.00 

1965 brunette Skooter SL (very good+++) She has her original two-piece swimsuit (in played with condition but still good) and red flats.  Her pigtails have been retied with new elastics and are missing the original red hair ribbons. The white elastic waistband on her swimsuit bottoms has come loose right at the front middle, so it could probably use a couple of quick stitches to re-attach and look better.  The edges of the red and white striped swimsuit top are curling up a bit, which is common. Skooter has a really cute face with no facial paint rubs.  Her lip paint is light pink.  No earring holes. Her hair has not been cut and no missing hair plugs that I could find.  No neck splits.  No missing fingers.  Her straight leg body is clean and in very good condition. She's a very nice doll!  $40.00

1966 blonde Francie BL (very good+++) She has her original blue with green and pink squares patterned swimsuit in played with condition. I see a small hole in the swimsuit in the lower left crotch area.  Francie has very nice hair which has not been cut.  It has good lower flip curl.  Her facial paint is excellent with no rubs and pretty raspberry lips.  She has nice blush too. There are a few lashes missing over her left eye, maybe 1/2 of them on the inside, but it's not obvious at all. Her lashes are all there and look great over her right eye. No neck splits and no green. Francie's body is clean and her knees bend and hold tightly.  There is a small hole in the top layer of the vinyl on her right front ankle. There is also a small gray dot that I couldn't wash off about an inch and a half above this.  Otherwise, I can't find anything wrong with this doll! She's really pretty and I think any buyer would be happy with her. $110.00 

1966 blonde Francie BL (good+++) She has her original white with green and pink squares patterned swimsuit in very good condition (she wasn't wearing it when I took this photo.) She has very cute, uncut hair, although her bangs are a little uneven, which is non uncommon to find.  Good rooted eyelashes and none appear to be missing. There is a faded spot on her forehead where the skin vinyl is paler, above her right eyebrow. This could be stained with artist markers if you like, to match the rest of the skin tone, but her bangs do cover it to some extent.  I took this photo with the sun shining right on her face, so the faded spot is more noticeable.  Ask for a larger of this picture to see it better. It's really not that bad and if you want me to try to touch it up with artist markers before I send her, just ask.  Her facial paint is great with no chips or fading.  She has blush.  No earring holes or prick marks. No neck splits.  No missing fingers. Her knees both bend and hold a pose tightly. Some chew marks on both ankles and there is a hole in the vinyl on the outside of her right ankle.  No missing toes. She's really not as bad as she sounds here, and would make a great display doll.  She's a cutie!  $60.00

1966 titian Skooter BL (very good+)  Missing shoes, stand and red ribbons from hair. She is wearing her very good condition original two-piece swimsuit (not shown in photo, but I'll include that non-Mattel dress with her.) The loop thread at the back of the denim shorts that the hook goes through has come unattached on one side, so it will need a tiny repair. I have retied her hair into her two side pigtails. No earring holes, no neck splits, no missing fingers or toes.  Her original lip paint is now faced to very pale pink, but her brown eyebrow paint looks good. She even has a bit of blush left.  Her body is in good condition, but her head and arms are a darker tone than her torso and legs. When she's dressed, this is not very noticable at all. Her knees both bend and click fine. There are a few very minor chew marks on each foot/ankle, but, again, it's not that noticeable. Other than that, she's really cute. Harder to find doll.  $35.00
